Welcome

My name Is Kenny Baum and I am Pastor of Ministry here at Rock Brook. It is so exciting to see how God is working through His people for His purposes here. The fact that you’re here says that you are a learner and that you’re seeking Gods will in your life. I am thrilled that you’re here to start your journey to find out who you are, how God has shaped  you and how God wants to use you for His Kingdom.

“Before architects design any new building they first ask, “What will be the purpose? How will it be used?” The intended function always determines the form of the building. Before God created you, He decided what role He wanted you to play on earth.  He planned exactly how He wanted you to serve Him, and then He shaped you for those tasks. You are the way you are because you were made for a specific contribution on earth. God never wastes anything. He would not give you abilities, interests, talents, gifts, personality, and life experiences unless he intended to use them for His glory. By identifying and understanding these factors, you can discover God’s will for your life.”

Galatians 6:4-5 (MSG)
Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and sink yourself into that. Don’t be impressed with yourself. Don’t compare yourself with others. Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life.

I  want you to understand that only you can be you. You are unique and God wants to use you just how you are. You have a specific purpose in life and a special assignment from God that only you can accomplish. Ask yourself, what will be the contribution of my life? What is my Kingdom purpose?

These are some questions we hope you will think about. Discovering your S.H.A.P.E. will be a journey. Let me encourage you that the time you spend on finding your S.H.A.P.E. is worth it.

I spent many years not knowing my S.H.A.P.E. which led to frustration in my mind, fatigue in my heart, and fear in my life. Although discovering my S.H.A.P.E. has given me focus in my mind, fulfillment in my heart, and fruitfulness in my life. All because I decided just to be what God made me to be.
